The President and CEO, appointed by the Board, is responsible
for the overall operation of CompSource Oklahoma.
Currently, CompSource Oklahoma is one of the largest workers compensation
insurance carriers in the state, serving nearly 28,000 businesses
and government agencies. We insure thousands of Oklahoma
companies and provide coverage benefits for tens of thousands of
Oklahoma employees.
Manufacturing, natural resources, trucking, wheat and cattle are
Oklahomas primary economic staples. CompSource Oklahoma
provides coverage for these risks as well as many others.
Our Financial Stability
CompSource has created its own financial strength and stability by utilizing sound insurance business practices and investments.
CompSource is a non-profit, self-supporting and self-sustaining insurance company created by the state. CompSource does not receive state
appropriated dollars, but operates based on investment income and premiums generated from policyholders. As of Dec. 31, 2007 CompSource maintains a strong surplus of
$259 million with a loss ratio under 100 percent. Such financial strength has resulted in significant dividends (more than $82.5 million) being
declared since 1998.
Despite current economic pressures, CompSource strives to maintain affordable rates without compromising our financial strength and excellent service.
Our History
CompSource Oklahoma was created in 1933 to provide a consistent,
viable market for Oklahoma employers to obtain coverage that was

remained the same.
CompSource Oklahoma continues as a non-profit, self-supporting,
insurance company for Oklahoma employers, large and small.
