CompSource Oklahoma Approves Rate Decrease
Oklahoma City, OK – The Board of Managers for CompSource Oklahoma approved an average 5
percent decrease to its overall rates, effective February 1, 2006.
“The 5 percent rate decrease is reflective of both the workers’ compensation reform
enacted earlier in the year as well as the improving loss experience of CompSource’s
31,000 policyholders,” said Jim Stergiou, actuary with SGRisk Actuaries and
Consultants.
Terry McCullar, CompSource Oklahoma President added, “The fundamental goal of
CompSource is to maintain stable workers’ compensation rates while at the same
time providing financial solidity for CompSource’s policyholders.”
